The Facebook/Twitter icons that show up on every post are VERY annoying.  I for one would like them removed.   :hammer:

I was actually coming to this thread to say the exact same thing.  Annoying.

Why, exactly are you annoyed? Also, would smaller icons at the bottom of the posts be more favorable?

that sounds worth a try.
Sadly this is bike racing and not everyone gets a pony.

Done.

Look folks, we love the input, but just saying "I hate it" or "it's annoying" is not enough. Please explain why you do not like something.

"It's annoying" is certainly enough when it comes to user interface :)  But most of the problem is that it is in line with the actual user post. Maybe have it on the right side over with quote, reply, and report to moderator?

Also, the Facebook "like" button that was previously there...that thing really grinds my gears.  I don't like other sites integrating with Facebook, because it contains loads of personal information about myself that I actively try to keep only there.

I also can't think of a single reason I would ever post someone's Social Cyclists post to twitter, Facebook, or whatever else.  Though people use the interent differently than me, so maybe someone will find that useful.

Plus, Digg?  That place has both feet in the grave right now.  Get with the times:)  Reddit maybe?

"It's annoying" may technically be enough, but it doesn't give us any insight into why a particular change is disliked.

I can definitely see why complete integration with facebook would be a problem. The previous facebook button would share who had "liked" it, including their real name. There shouldn't be any issues with that now.

Until I get a little bit of time to work on it the buttons will be located in the bottom left corner of a post...as with anything, compromises must be made.

I swapped Reddit in, and can add a number of other share buttons. I'll be providing a complete list momentarily...

For the first time ever, I had to leave chat due to MUCH inappropriate material being posted.

MM, please get a handle on chat rules or I'll be forced to no longer participate.

It's not worth losing my job over.

I'm not on 24/7. If you see something, say something (file a report or send a pm to <gmt>, wens, dragonfly, or myself).

As an aside, the Complaints thread is not a place to hash out disagreements. If someone has posted a complaint and you don't have any pertinent information to add, please don't comment on their complaint.
