That's pretty effing sweet right there.
Definitely, I can't imagine how much fun that would be to drive.

I'm blind.  The side view looked like a 3 series a little bit

I bet the front shot must have really confused you then ;)

On a scale of 1-10 it was a 12.  Although this was a bigger rush. This is about as close to an F1 car I'll ever get.  250cc IC/E Kart

I'm multi-tasking, I don't have time to look at all the pictures.

Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

My baby:

 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport - 5mt

Only mods so far are tint, RA UR flaps, and hood shield. I have plans for winter/summer wheels, Whiteline RSB & endlinks, sport grille, Kartboy shift bushings and short shifter, and an SPT CAI.

And this is the OTHER car we're thinking of.

Cyclists must have the same tastes in cars.

Of the three, if I had the budget to buy new...it would be a hatchback WRX all the way.  As it is right now, I'm not sure we're going to be able to afford any of the above. The Subaru's are too expensive. The Mazda 3's are too new.

Special look at these.

Volvo V70R, tons of room 300hp big brakes, six speed.  Really sweet car.  I was looking for one but couldn't find one at the time I bought my Sportwagen.

I lent my Honda Element to a friend to use on a bike vacation.

He lent me his Nissan Z 350 convertible. It's an automatic.

All I know about cars is that mine is tall, slow, boxy, and utilitarian. His is short, fast, sleek, and unable to carry a wheelset in the trunk.

Commence commiserating.

They changed the body style in last model year 2010.  Generally that kills the value of the old style, unless of course you are Porsche then going to the 996 actually made the the 993 more valuable.

If you can find a well maintained 855R I'd recommend one as well. They are fast and handle well and get better gas mileage than a gas Sportwagen.

The base Impreza hatch and the OBS trim aren't terribly expensive. We looked at getting a WRX hatch, but a few things turned us off - worried about the turbo, higher insurance, more expensive.

FWIW, the OBS isn't a speed demon, but you can definitely have some fun with it  :D
