Quick side story, when that borat movie came out, my buddy photo shopped a face of a co-worker onto borat's body in that green thong, then through a GP, made it the wallpaper on multiple co-worker's desktops, it was comical...  Then we got a visit from HR :o

We've been looking for something new almost as long as we've had our current set. As soon as we tried to put the plates in the cabinet and they didn't fit...  :facepalm:

I got a plate rack and stand them up but they take up a lot of room that way. We have our smaller plates standing up sideways and it works much better and are easier to get to. Obviously we had them for 8 years now, so we found a solution, but it's still annoying and the new plates won't have that problem.

I should clarify that our "current" set is our old set, I just ordered the new ones, I don't have them yet.

I think if you try laying them down sideways on their backs, you'll find you get better use of the space.
