Good Luck Makel and iJen!
Always be careful of the zealot.  Most zealots are hiding something

I'm starting to think I might skip my race this weekend.  It's going to be a high of 97 on race day.  Water temp is already high 80s and it's going to be high 90s air temp all week so it may get even higher.  Did a race last year in similar conditions and had a terrible, terrible experience...felt completely wasted after the swim and then trudged around for the next 2 hours.  This season sucks so far.

that was my one race last year.  Makel can attest, the swim sucked donkey balls.

Yah...the water temp is what ruins it.  Last Friday I was out on my bike with the temperature at 104.  No problem...just pour some water on the head occasionally.  But there's nothing you can do in the water.
