He's not human. I just wonder how long he'll keep at it. Even IM paydays are small change for him.
He is richer than he ever needs to be.

He is doing it because he can.  He wants to win Kona.  Then he will move on to something else.  Maybe ultramarathons or some other "feat of strength".  He needs the competition to justify his own existence.

Festivus for the rest of us?

Yeah he isn't doing this for money, he is doing it cause he can.  More power to him.

Marginally better than listening to one on the radio, though.  :D

It's entertaining when they all fall over trying to get into their shoes that are stuck in their pedals.  Except Lance doesn't do that.

I just started doing that. If I can do it and not fall, there is no excuse for anyone else. It's not that hard, I'm not sure how so many people can clusterfark it.

Lance and Vuelta is a farking joke.  He'd be lucky to crack the top 10 let alone sniff the podium.  Bert is going to crush every soul in Spain on or off the bike during those three weeks.

Lance will not win in Kona either.

correct on point one.  IMO if he trains properly for an IM, he has the ability to win Kona.  Obviously Craig Alexander is the big dog, but if LA works on his running between now and November, he has a shot.  His bike leg on a full IM (especially with the wind) will build him a huge advantage going into the run.

Actually if you look at his bike leg he's struggling there more than on his run.  My best friend here is very good friends with LA and he's told me that Lance is having issues on the bike due to the length.  He's used to under an hour in that position.

huh,  never thought about it like that.  His tt position is so agressive that it would be hard to maintain it.  I guess it would be hard to change your tt position after all those years.

Well of course, he's a triathlete, not a bike racer.
