huh,  never thought about it like that.  His tt position is so agressive that it would be hard to maintain it.  I guess it would be hard to change your tt position after all those years.

Yeah it shocked me as well.  I think we tend to see him as a kick ass bike racer but these IM distances are just so long and he's not used to being that position for hours.

No more tri's for Lance.

It's good USADA is doing such good, timely work.

I wonder if this would have come forward if he had stayed away.

The UCI could use a good damaging.

I've said this for years, if you want to rid the sport of systemic doping prosecute the the DS.  Just punishing the riders will never put a dent in the problem

Could be a good thing.  I agree that the DS and maybe even team owners should be penalized, just like in the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL etc. but I have little faith in it actually happening.  Too much money going around.

No ****.  The problem is that the current crop of DSs are a bunch of former dopers who never got caught, then went on to become DSs who never got caught.  I mean, that's to be expected since everyone doped.  But they never learned their lesson.  How can the new generation of riders be expected to race clean when they have former doped up riders teaching them every day?

Even if the DS isn't pushing anything on them, they are still forced to look at their boss every day with the realization that they become so successful while doping, were never punished, and continue to be successful.  I know people like to hate on Johan, but Bjarne Riis comes to mind as an even better example of this.
