Here's my new ride, it's a Gary Fisher Marlin SS, took it out for it's first ride Sunday for 3.5 hrs on snow covered trails.  Yes I removed the reflectors first:
WC is the Debil.

XT drivetrain, maybe a truvativ Noir crank... X fusion fork - affordable and super light.

This thread needs some love, so I'll post hoar a bit.

My many times rebuilt DBR X2. Started as a stock '99 X2, current frame is a 2000 since I broke it and the rear swingarm. Only thing original is the stem. Love the bike but don't get to ride it much anymore as terrain here isn't rough enough for it.



I need to get a better and updated pic of the hardtail. Was a DB hardtail, but I cracked the headtube and just threw all the parts on a cheap frame from bikeisland. It's setup a bit different now for racing...
