Giro Brava II FF Gloves
« on: December 02, 2011, 01:01:37 PM »
About a month ago I purchased a pair of Giro Brava II Full Finger Gloves. I was over the whole half finger thing since most of them never ever fit right anyways. We recently had a Dick's Sporting Goods open up in town and I went in to see what they had, tried them on, and bought them. Paid $24.99+tax only to come home and find in the mail a $10 off coupon.  :banghead: Moving on.

I've ridden with these every ride since I got them. They feel kinda 'thin' like a batting glove but that's what I was looking for. I always feel like I'm holding onto the bars instead of the padding on some gloves. Padding is at a minimum with a little bit extra on the thumbs that I feel they could have done without. It doesn't bother me but it would have bothered me less if it wasn't there. Still no complaints about that though. They don't have the grip on the first 2 fingers like some gloves but that's really not an issue and one that I could remedy if i really wanted to. Out of the saddle sprinting I feel in control with no slippage. They do well for blocking out wind and I've ridden with them in temps down to 40F with no problems, but they definitely aren't designed for cold weather riding.

Overall I'd recommend them if you're looking for a FF glove. 8/10.
