Bought a bar and two matching stems awhile ago with the intent of putting the shorter one on for the Winter.  Being it's Winter I went to swap them when I noticed one of the steerer clamp bolts was missing, almost.  Need to drill it out and don't have the right bit or a hardware store open Sunday's.

Failed crankarm bolt

.. caused a crash, or was the seat stay damage caused by the crank arm (which presumably was still clipped to your shoe)?

Calfee can probably repair that frame.

sux umd.  Good luck on the repair/replacement.

My contribution is relatively minor, but it was a fairly new tire.

Sadly this is bike racing and not everyone gets a pony.

Been told Calfee is mostly just a middleman now and is really backed up anyway. Current recommendation is Predator Cycles which is relatively local.

Yikes, sucks man.

Was this the crank arm bolt on the quarq? From switching bikes too much or something, or literally the bolt just decided to die?

FYI I threw my bike across the road one day during intervals when my tire slit open and I was in the middle of no where. I scratched my seatstay (aluminium) very similar to the main wound of your bike, I wonder if it was carbon fiber if it would have cracked!
