you are just jealous of my multisport lack of talent

It would be better being able to swim than not being able to swim.

I blew my chance today!  A policeman was camped at the school zone with a radar gun.  Sadly, he was pointing at the opposite traffic.   Moreover, I wasn't going fast enough to get a ticket because I had ice in my cleat again and thus wasn't clipped in.

Oh well, someday I shall get a ticket.

I want to ride now but I'm intimidated by the snow on the ground.

And there's always work.  It is work time.

On the steepest hill I frequesntly ride over, i sometimes see policemen pointing hand held speed cameras to trap the cars charging down the steep hill. I was coming up the other way and I must have been going a good 5 or 6 mph trying not to keel over. Those jokers pointed the camera at me and laughed.

that's what we pay our road tax for!

Had a nice little 34 mile ride this morning with one hill.  A whopping 880ft .  Fun though.

Next time I may yell out, "Look! I'm speeding!" as I roll by.

Any issues with the SPDs jamming?

If you're still wondering, the only time I have had problems with them jamming was after walking in sand.

But I can imagine that happening with snow, too.

I went to early spin instead of riding today, although the weather post-Bears was excellent.  Makes me feel guilty.

Holy Thick Fog, Batman!

That pretty much sets the tone of my ride.  I started up toward Auburn to ride some of the hills just West of town, but as I went up in elevation, the fog got thicker and thicker.  By the time I got to where the hills are, there was about 20 feet of visibility, and me without lights (should have brought the other bike, that's where the lights are).  Pretty scary, so I headed back.  Still, ended up with 67 mi, 16.5 avg, and 2600 ft.

Speedy 60 mile ride yesterday, and today was a very leisurely 45 mile day. Today included a Starbucks, a ride on a mup, and a ride around a park. The company was enjoyable.

That's excellent.  I had a similar plan.

32 miles out the Hardin Valley and back.  It almost felt human again at 48F.

Sadly, that's my longest ride in two months.

I'm off to ride a short 40 miles on a cold, wet, dreary day.

21 miles in light drizzle at 42F.  I'm glad I beat the rain.  That wouldn't have been good.

Quick 10 miles of errands in below zero temps.  Sunny as all get out though.

I was starting to think that I'm the on person here who rides.  Maybe I am.
