Thanks, guys.

It's very, very early stage kidney disease. The vet is confident that there's a good amount of time left with a careful diet and possibly meds (she's brought in a specialist gratis because she knows cash is tight and she likes helping people that rescue greyhounds). While this is the beginning of the end, the doc opinion so far is, that end still might be two years away.

Sorry to hear Krampus, hope you get a few more years with her.  My buddy has 2 rescue greyhounds, beautiful dogs.
