lowkey hillclimb #2. Lost to a local pro by 90 seconds. At one point I looked up the road and he was riding no-handed. I was 5th of 100ish

Also great scenery, but the inversion layer trapped the smog and my throat is still sore.

LowKey Hillclimb #2, Sierra Rd. I feel like I'm the only one that likes this thread, but that's OK.

This, and there are only like 6 people who read this place anyway and most aren't in racing season anymore :)

I think I should just sit around and wait for the sprint in cat 3 or 3/4 races. Also in road races. 1/2/3 crits and track races it's a hell of a lot of fun to play around though!

This message brought to you by me winning my last 3/4 race of the season...half my season wins, and the only one of the year where I played sprinter
Do you think we're gonna make it? / I don't know unless we try / you could sit here scared to move / or we could take them by surprise

Bah, the season as a whole wasn't a complete failure, but it wasn't a sterling success either. Talking with a coach with an eye to getting my face kicked in less frequently next season. Or something like that.

Hey wens is back, sort of
Vicelord: if I stay in the right position I could win any of the races I've been in

Vicelord: Stop being dicks to me.
ls01: then man up
Herbie53: ok, but vaginas tend to attract a lot of dicks

got my worst road rash of the season today. at a cross race. dumb.
You can be the strongest guy in the field but if you don't know how to use it, when to use it, and have the b*lls to use it at the right time, you'll lose.

yeah...hit a dirt to pavement transition way too fast trying to make up for a poor start on lap one.

i wouldn't say cross is safer, but I WOULD say the danger tends to be more self-inflicted than on the road where you're at the mercy of others a lot of times.

hillclimb. did well, until I tried to big ring the final 300m and schlecked my chain. I am not a fast runner. Would have been 3rd/80ish. Ended 5th or 6th.
