Stage today was boring but finish was good. Giant took the long way around the roundabout, Cav and Sagan bumping, and Cav out-dragging Greipel in the end.

looking like a repeat of the Chris Pharm show of 2013.  One guy pulls his whole team to within a second of the World Champs...

in a Team Time Trial.

I really hope someone can can give Chris Pharm a run for the lead, TvG maybe but not certain, hopefully Quintana.  Contador is probably too tired from the Giro and Nibali looks a step behind.  If not, the rest of the race will be boring.

Speaking of pharm.  It is difficult not to jump to the conclusion that some PEDs may cause testicular cancer.

Yeah I saw that earlier, that sucks for Basso.  Hey Maybe he can come back and win 7 tdf's in a row now.

not looking good for Barguil.

I wonder why his team aren't helping him back into the race...

He crashed in the feed zone and was laying on the ground for a few minutes.  He eventually got back on his bike and was alone, 3 minutes down.  They did send one guy to help pace him back though.  He's in the cars now.

I don't understand a lot about how these teams make their decisions in the Tour.  Movistar are at the front, bringing the breakaway back.  It seems to me that they are doing Sky's work for them, making it easier for Sky to do their mountain TTT in the final climb.

Well maybe I understand now. We've hit the mountain and Movistar are still drilling it. Froome seems to have only two teammates left. Interesting.

Yawn.  Domination on a mountain stage is not that fun to watch.

Carlton Kirby just said something about somebody stealing Froome's data.  What is that about?

I finished Kimmage's "A Rough Ride" last night.  His doping stories seem quaint and primitive.
