Yesterday started me really getting serious about my nutrition, it's been too long, I am tired walking around 15lbs heavier than I was 2 years ago, every time I start to eat right again, I make excuses and fall off the wagon, no more of that bull****.

Also I got shelled on the saturday worlds, more for being stupid and on the back up one of the climbs, when a split started I didn't see it until it was too late, at the top we made a right into a stiff headwind and it was game over.  Still a beautiful morning for Jan 2nd.  Winter has finally arrived but the sun made the 30 deg temp very tolerable.

Pretty sure I found VL on Reddit. Not going to say more than that except I'm curious to see the results of his queries of the last few days. #notgonnastalkIpromisebro

I mean I'm not exactly hiding.

Im pretty sure I found Wylde06 on bos today, some guy in a Saturn of Toledo kit riding a red aluminum cannondale jumped into the group. The ride was ****ing hard today and he wasn't there at the end but I did yell Dan and no one answered.

He either didn't hear or it wasn't him and yeah at no exactly hiding. It was quite obvious just reading the username.

OK well that dude is a major badass!!!

In the cat 4's there was a guy who raced sometimes with a prosthetic leg, he mostly would eventually go OTB but I always congratulated him for having balls and courage to show up and race.

When I raced in Chicago a couple years ago and stayed at Tim's..I was watching one of the masters races and had to do a double take when I saw Joe riding.  In the break. Killing it.   It was pretty awesome to watch

We had a big software upgrade last night, got home at 2am, woken up by my neighbor a few houses down cutting down and chipping trees at 7am, it was raining, I wasn't about to get on trainer.  Did errands, bought GC's lights, took down and put in attic all Christmas decorations, sun came out, dried roads, I started to get dressed at 3 to sneak in a quick ride, work calls just before I could leave, bug found in production code.  Just finished working now...  :banghead:

100% of rain tomorrow, my fat ass is getting on zwift if it's the last thing I do.

Huge perk to living in the city: I will never have to deal with that neighbor who gets up too early to mow, work on his truck, let his kids play, etc.  :D

Good luck Alex, did you get that job in the city where you posted those sweet photos?

Just loaded some Iron Maiden on the phone to blast through the speakers as I get on the trainer.  I am sure my wife and kids will love to hear this blasting through the walls, but I am sure W approves.

It's been years since I've listened to them. I mean like 25 yrs. I got the best of the beast. My god this is awesome. I also learned wasted years and number of the best on the old guitar last night. Well parts not the whole song.
