There is 30+ masters field at a new crit next weekend.  I was already thinking about going up for the 4/5 and 3/4, but if I really wanted to put myself through the wringer I could attempt the masters race also...this is one of the rare races with a 30+ field, so I almost want to take a shot at it.

So, do you ever get used to going down hills with carbon fiber wheels brake? I kind of lack the confidence to go hard right now because it seems to brake at a slower rate. Man, I've been spoiled by alluminium rims.

Ended up with 1039 miles for July..beat my previous 1000 mile month by about 25 miles
