Biathlon Race Report

Putting this in run since this is the part I did.

Boyfriend and I did a relay - I can't kayak, and running hurts his back, so he kayaked and I ran.

Kayak portion was 6.78 miles. It took him about 1:19 minutes, which made him the 9th person done on that leg. It was a beautiful, flat day.

I took the run, which was 4 miles. Time was 35 minutes, which I was really happy with!

Our combined times put us at 3rd place relay team. The two who beat us had very strong kayakers and runners, so I was pretty happy with our performance. It was a really neat race and a great time.

Also sharing this guy. He finished the kayak in just under 50 minutes, way before anyone else. His kayak weighed 25 pounds. I assume it was the kayak equivalent of a super tri bike with Zipps. It was barely wide enough to fit a person, and when he was done he carried it out on his shoulder  :o

Nice!

That looks like he's running uphill.  But it's Florida and not a bridge, so I'm confused.
