Did you run today?
« on: January 12, 2011, 04:56:26 PM »
I'm planning on it!

With a 13.1 coming up in March, I'm on an interval training plan running about 12-15 miles a week currently.

Anyone else?

Does the treadmill count?

~32 minutes on the treadmill, and I did 2 miles in 28:20..so 14:10/mile.  Apparently I hit start on my garmin a few minutes before I actually got on.

~30 minutes on the treadmill.  2 miles in ~14:20/mile.  Starting to be able to run for longer periods. Not much longer, but I am seeing some improvement

Meh. I went out of town this weekend and forgot my running shoes, so I powerwalked on the treadmill for 45 minutes using HR levels.

I don't understand this workout. Was it a bunch of sprints with walking in between? You did a good job on the HR.

5 minute walk warmup, then intervals of 5 minutes steady running, 1:15 walking, rinse and repeat.

I did some breathing focusing while I ran which was really nice.

Another 1/2 hour on the treadmill.  I accomplished one of my goals of running 1 mile uninterrupted, well the first mile anyways.  I walked for about 2 minutes then did the rest of the mile in one go.

Also had a better pace at 13:56/mile.

Today's run. I had planned 1hr15min of intervals, but kept getting a nasty side cramp. I've got to figure out what caused it so it doesn't happen again...

Also, Garmin distance is incorrect. It took a good while to locate a satellite, and subtracted .25 miles off my actual distance
