14:45/mile for 2 miles.

I don't know if its because of the cold in the garage or because I am on the treadmill, but towards the end of the 30 minutes, it gets harder to run for more than 2 or 3 minutes at a time because my heart rate is getting so high.  Im gonna have to go with it being on the treadmill.

Spring needs to hurry up.

Try slow, deep breaths.

When my HR gets too high, I just tell myself to take it down a notch... take some longer breaths, and just try to feel relaxed. It really does help (even though it sounds cheezy).

Hey ijen, after my ride today I tried out my new "dorky" Brooks, only for about 1.5 miles. They seem to be okay, there wasn't a huge amount of pain. I hate this taking it easy giving myself time to heal crap.

I tried to control my breathing more, but it didn't really seem to help.  I just decreased the amount of time running in each interval and that seemed to help out some.

14:45/mile for the 2 miles.

I think I am going to start increasing my time soon.

No real running yet. Just a few minutes on the treadmill at PT. Knees real achy after lots of walking around this weekend.
