what is your favorite stroke technique drill? mine is one arm drill w/ zoomer fins.

I stroke 25m right arm while breathing left, and then switch.

Great for your pull and great for body rotation and balance in the water.

I'm just back in the pool for the past month for the first time since I was 19 (I'm 43 now).

I did those last thursday (no fins) for 50yds a side X10.  My back has been sore until yesterday (I looked like a pretzel over the weekend)  No more of those type drills until I work with a coach to get my form back.

This guy knows what's up. Fist drill is a favorite. Swim with your hands closed in fists. Forces you to keep a high elbow.

Balance drill is another favorite. This: http://www.active.com/swimming/Articles/Side-aligned_balance_drill.htm

I favor arms at the side though. Snorkel is optional.
Do you think we're gonna make it? / I don't know unless we try / you could sit here scared to move / or we could take them by surprise

Oh right. I'd forgotten about that. I need to know where I'm sending it though...
